Journey Bembenek

Journey is the beautiful, one year old, of Chad and Stefanie Bembenek of Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
Journey was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric liver cancer. She is hospitalized at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee in the intensive care unit. She is in critical condition and is on a ventilator and in a medically induced coma.
She is a strong little girl and is fighting hard but she faces an uphill battle.
Though they are already dealing with the loss of Chad’s job and the terminal illness of his mom (she also has liver cancer), the Bembeneks continue to stand strong for their little girl.
The prayers of many people have been a source of strength and support for Journey’s family,
The fundraiser at the YMCA of the Northwoods which was held on November 15th, 2009 raised $18,000.00 for the Bembenek family. Please keep this family in your prayers.

Journey lost her battle with cancer in March of 2010.
