Plum Lake provides 1108 acres of great fishing for muskies, walleyes, northern pike, large and small mouth bass, crappies and pan fish. Plum Lake is located in the center of Vilas County and its many fishing hot spots. You can also fish for trout in Plum Creek or canoe scenic Lost Creek.
Once a week your hosts, Paul and Meadow Lofy, host a cook out in the large barbecue pit in the picnic area. This is a great opportunity to meet the other guests at the resort and share a good meal.
No family vacation, or summer resort, would be complete without a place for the kids to "hang out". Complete with a small sandbox, two swings and a REALLY steep slide this is the perfect spot to blow off some steam before dinner!
All Units have a boat to use on the lake. Fishing motors and canoes are available for rent. If you bring your own boat it can be launched at the resort with space to dock at the pier.
Don't forget Plum Gate in the winter: right in front of the resort is access to some of the finest snowmobile trails anywhere. Cross country ski trails are only minutes away and downhill skiing is an hour. Many big fish are taken during the excellent ice fishing on the lake.
