Muskies: Season is closed, let them rest and grow!
Northern: They are on the weed edges, hitting shiner minnows. Use wind tip-ups on windy days. The limit is 5.
Walleyes: They are on the rock piles and gravel bars, hitting fathead minnows. Use wind tip-ups.
Largemouth Bass: They are around water run-off in the weeds, hitting fathead minnows.
Smallmouth Bass: Same as largemouths
Crappie: From 2:00 pm to dark, they are in the shallows at 2-4', use crappie minnows. When you find them use a tube jig, I prefer pink and white. If they are being fussy, try using the neck skin off a chicken, cut into small strips.
Perch: They are in 6-8' of water on the weed edges, I use grubs, squished to release the scent. Try crappie minnows for the larger fish.
Pan fish: They are in 6-8' of water on the weed edges. Use squished grubs on black ice jigs.
