Great Northern Beads
From The Swamps Of Wisconsin

Howdy! My name is Kathryn. I was bitten by the beading bug about 2 years ago. I have made several items since then. I am self taught and do all of my work on a dime-store loom. Here are some photos of recent projects:

I used a cross-stitch pattern for the ducks, fox, and butterfly - the light blue beads in the "eagle" barrette made it bunchy - thus, I don't like it.

More barrettes, I don't have any strong feelings for the top two - but the black one's cool!

The Carousel Horse is for my sister. It's supposed to be on a checkbook cover that's long overdue...the bear is a barrette that I am really please with. Dyed turquoise is on the fringe with a Peruvian Fish Bead from Ben Franklin!

I made the green barrette first. I liked it so much, I tried again with different colors. I still like the green combination better!

These are two sides to the same mini-amulet bad. The little dragon pattern was free from a website. The pattern is from "The Happy Beaders", Thank You! I like him!
